Explore the magical depths of the Red Sea from Dahab, Marasa Alam, Sharm el Sheikh's and others when you are diving in Egypt with qualified PADI instructors.
It all depends on what you want from your Red Sea holiday. Most people come to scuba dive and to snorkel; others just relax on the golden beaches and soak up the sun. Diving in Egypt is what it is all about.
As you’re on the edge of the desert, there is plenty of rather exotic exploring to do – camel safaris, day trips to antiquity sights, shopping in markets or paying a visit the traditional cafes, you can try smoking a mixture of tobacco, apple and honey through a shisha pipe.
But, if you want to learn to scuba dive, make sure the place you have selected is PADI accredited. So a bit of shopping around and find a resort and dive school that suits you. If you don’t like crowds, stay away from Sharm and Hurghada – go to one of the smaller resorts.
For travelers who enjoy a bit of nightlife action, you can let your hair down in Hurghada and even enjoy some traditional belly dancing. And of course, Sharm el Sheikh is a well-developed Red Sea holiday resort with luxurious accommodation, plenty of restaurants and great shopping. This means there is also a good selection of bars, nightclubs and casinos to ensure your Red Sea holiday nights are as bright as the sun at noon.
